My 7 year old was sitting down thinking and my 4 year old walked past him and out of the clear blue:
7 year old: Hey, do you believe God?
4 year old, without hesitation: Yes, I believe God!
7 year old: Me, too!
Now, I have no idea what was on their minds or what made my son ask my other son the question, but it touched me to know that they believe God. They weren't stressed and going around trying to figure things out, like so many of us adults do. They just simply believed God for whatever they needed.
Matthew 18:3 "And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven."
Why can't we see things as simply as children. Its just a yes or no. Thank you for posting this, I have been working on this lately. Just believing God without having all the answers.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week.

Don't you just love those moments, They make you feel gooooood. Kids are such blessings. By the way, I'm Christy. I love your blog. Have a blessed day.
ReplyDeleteVery Sweet!! I teach a class at church with kids ages 4-8 and they are so open to the things of God. They don't question anything when it comes to God. You just teach them and they believe it. Never any doubt in their minds. I love that kind of faith.
