My Baby, Baby Birthday
My youngest sons birthday is today! He turned 5. It s funny when people ask him how old he is, he goes, "ffffffffffffffffffour, FIVE!" He's so used to saying 4, then he remembers. Of course, we took a trip to the oh so wonderful Chuck E. Cheese's. I was amazed at the amount of people that were there tonight! I have learned to take, what I call, the "Home School Advantage"- get there between 1PM-5PM; when all the parents have to leave because they have to get the older kids from school or be at home when they arrive. That way when the evening crowd gets there- I'll be ready to leave. When we arrived there were only about 7 families there and maybe 14 kids. By the time we left, people were asking for our tables and waiting for our parking spots. One employee told me that last Valentine's Day, there was a line going out of the door and wrapping around the building-wow!
I did attempt to get some good pics tonight with my new camera. I got a few that I really liked and tweaked a little bit:
You are a talented photographer and graphic artist, those pictures are simply beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI love the picture of your son getting ready to blow out his candles. Very sweet. And I know just what you mean about getting to places like Chuck E Cheese while the school crowd is busy doing other things.
ReplyDeleteBy the way I tagged you. Check it out at my blog.

Hey Missy!
ReplyDeleteYou did awesome- those are SO cute! And a happy birthday to your darling little 5 year old! Doesn't 5 seem so much bigger than 4?!! I always felt that way when my little ones turned 5.
I totally know what you mean about the "homeschool advantage". We do that too when planning trips. I forget what Chuck E Cheese was like! We don't have anything like that here. I bet that was fun!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!!! I owe you an email- I am SOOO far behind. :( I feel like I've been neglecting my blogging buddies. I'm just SO tired these days! I'm sorry!
By the way, I loooooove the music on your blog!!! :) It kind of scared me at first because I normally have my sound off at night but I've been changing the music on my website & needed to see if it worked. LOL! :)
HUGS!
