My sons

I took this picture of my sons last month when the weather was unusually warm. I saw a technique on another blog and thought I would try it on this pic. Now, I can't decide which one I like, so I decided to just post all three:
Here's the original:
Here's the first change I made. I like this one and I think I'll get it in a 8x10 to go on my living room wall:Buuuuuutttttt, after trying the new technique, I can't decide which one I like better:
I was up last night trying to this technique and just couldn't. I was pretty bummed about the whole thing. See, what I saw was done in Adobe Photoshop-which I don't have and don't care to spend $70 on right now, when my money could be going on something more important. About Year and half ago I broght this $20 printer from K-Mart and it came with a great photo editing software. So far, it has been just what I've needed- honestly, the software itself was worth the $20 and more. But last night I thought it had let me down. Well after much prayer and time playing around on it-guess what the Lord helped me to find out. Yep, how to get my picture to look like it was black and white and I added some color to it, but I didn't. Not that you care to know all of that, but it was a major victory for me today. Oh, by the way, the software is Photo Explosion.

  1. Look at those sweet faces! It is hard to decide, I like all three as well. There is something so classy about a black and white picture though.

Missy the boys look wonderful!, I love the black and white, its classic, the b&w with color looks nice to. I am I guess a person who likes the unusual, the classic. You edited the my christmas family picture and I absolutely loved it. carol

You edited the my christmas family picture and I absolutely loved it. I am interested in a lot of things but writing is my gift. I write poetry and i wrote my first stab at spoken work. i need your email address and I will share some of my work. Have you ever thought of photo editing as a source of income. Im sure it could work for you, I don't have to tell you to pray over it Im sure that is part of your every moment, likewise for me. carol
