Phonics Booklets

This post is really for my brain and to remind me of a few good things:


My plan is to lapbook each letter of the alphabet for my 5 year old son to help him learn his letters and phonic sounds:

    Starfall is a fabulous website. my kids love it. They laugh and laugh with each letter of the alphabet. And its so funny to watch my 3 yo and 5 yo playing! we have more then one computer so they both go and then tell each other what letter to go to see something. It certainly helping. My 3 yo knows 1/2 the alphabet now! :)

    Here is another good option for free phonics books. All of the alphabet books are free and the first two in the beginner series are free (words with short "a" and short "e" respectively). My son really liked that we were reading together instead of all the pressure being on him.
